Adding a Responsive jQuery Slider to Your WordPress Theme

I’m now occasionally writing tutorials over on Wptuts+!

My first tutorial was released yesterday, Adding a Responsive jQuery Slider to Your WordPress Theme, which takes you through all the steps needed to do so.

Check it out and if you have any questions/thoughts, leave them there!

  1. Hi,

Did your tutorial for the slider, which is great might I add.

However, I cannot get it to work in the theme I am building. I ahve no idea why it won’t work. are there any onther files I need to include?

It works using the exact same code in Twentywelve and eleven theme, just not mine.

Any ideas why it doesn’t work would be greatly appreciated :-)

  2. Hi Bryce,

Thanks for the great tutorial and the slider works nicely.

One thing I would love to learn is how to make the slideshow only advance when the user clicks on the slides themselves. I’ve tried a couple of things but no luck yet.

If you have any ideas I’d much appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Don
